01 / Capabilities
Upstream delivers focused technical work across the software, data, infrastructure, and physical interfaces a mission system depends on — directly for government customers or as part of a prime contractor’s team.
Operational web applications, APIs, data models, reporting, and administration workflows built with React and Next.js.
Applications / APIsEvaluation pipelines, output QA, monitoring, analytics, automation, and human-in-the-loop review around deployed models.
Models / QA / ReviewPython, SQL, PySpark, Databricks, and AWS systems spanning ETL, events, webhooks, observability, and deployment tooling.
Data / Cloud / AutomationLive RTSP ingest, detection, tracking, counting, event logic, and alerting for camera and sensor feeds.
Video / Sensors / EventsGPU inference, cameras and sensors, networking, edge compute, field testing, and device-to-cloud integration.
Devices / Edge / Field02 / Team experience
Hands-on experience our team members bring from prior roles and programs.
Built and launched CrowdCount across 25 pilot locations, including field installation and customer operations.
Engineered the reliability layer behind live CV: stream and session health, tracker operations, events, alerts, and API integrations.
Contributed analytics, reporting, data-platform, and production-migration work for federal health programs through RELI Group.
03 / Work areas
Upstream can prime a defined requirement and own delivery end to end, or take responsibility for a focused technical scope inside a larger delivery team.
Review example requests, deliverables, and handoff outcomes.

04 / How we deliver
When Upstream serves as prime, we own delivery from scope through deployment and support. When teaming, we take clear responsibility for the selected component, its interfaces, and a maintainable transition.
Start with a bounded outcome, named interfaces, and acceptance criteria
Expose the highest-risk assumption through an early prototype or integration
Use short, visible checkpoints so the customer or program team can steer delivery
Design monitoring and debugging paths alongside the delivered system
Leave maintainable code, architecture notes, deployment steps, and runbooks
Transition ownership cleanly or remain through fielding and ongoing support
